The UFO Project
I am still working on my 10 UFO project list from the guild activity last year. I finished 4 plus one other UFO so I have 6 more to do. As they are finished they'll be posted here.
The 12 smaller block patterns are the post card blocks that were given out each month at Moda University. Moda designed the final layout, though I changed the center from nine patches to the star block. As someone who doesn't like gold I wonder that I used so much of that color. I certainly got tired of the gold while quilting. This was the first UFO project drawn last year but I hadn't even begun to sew, so it took me nearly a year to finish. The quilt was finished in October 2007 but wasn't photographed until now.

This quilt was actually a Moda University kit. I bought it because it was the kind of fabrics one of my sister loves. I determined to make it for her for her birthday. Two years later.....it's finally finished. I could not get a quilt without a hanging sleeve to hang well off my rack so it looks a bit wobbly on the edges.
